1. Services
Chatty Cleans provides domestic cleaning services throughout the TF postcode area. Our services include regular domestic cleaning and deep cleaning, with a friendly companionship focus built into each visit.
2. Booking and Scheduling
- Bookings can be made via our website, phone, or email
- Regular cleaning visits are scheduled on the same day and time each week/fortnight
- We require at least 48 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling
- Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) may be charged at 50% of the scheduled visit cost
3. Pricing and Payment
- Our standard rate is £20 per hour
- Minimum booking is 2 hours per visit
- Payment is due within 24 hours of each visit/invoice (unless agreed otherwise)
- We accept bank transfer and cash payments only
- Your hourly rate includes cleaning products and local travel within our service area
4. Access to Property
To provide our services, we require:
- Safe and secure access to your property during scheduled visits
- Key holder arrangements or entry codes if you won't be present
- Information about alarm systems
- Notification of any hazards or special requirements
5. Our Responsibilities
- Provide reliable, professional cleaning services
- Employ DBS-checked and trained staff
- Maintain appropriate insurance coverage
- Treat your property and belongings with care and respect
- Maintain confidentiality of your personal information
- Arrive on time and complete agreed cleaning tasks
6. Your Responsibilities
- Ensure safe access to your property
- Inform us of any changes to access arrangements
- Pay invoices promptly
- Notify us of any breakages or concerns within 24 hours
- Treat our staff with respect
7. Insurance and Liability
Chatty Cleans maintains public liability insurance. However:
- We are not liable for damage caused by pre-existing conditions
- Claims must be reported within 24 hours of the visit
- We are not responsible for items not secured or properly stored
- Maximum liability is limited to the cost of repair or replacement
8. Elderly Care Services
For clients receiving our companionship services:
- We provide cleaning with added companionship, not regulated personal care
- We do not handle medication, provide personal hygiene care, perform lifting/transfers, or do wound dressing
- We can share visit summaries with authorised family members
- Our staff will report any welfare concerns to emergency contacts
- We are not a replacement for professional care services
9. Termination
Either party may terminate regular cleaning arrangements with 2 weeks written notice. We reserve the right to terminate services immediately if:
- Payment is persistently late or unpaid
- Our staff are treated inappropriately
- The property presents health and safety risks
10. Complaints
We take all complaints seriously. Please contact us within 24 hours of any issue so we can investigate and resolve it promptly. Unresolved complaints can be escalated to the business owner.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
